Dan Messing, Owner
Dan’s experience welding started almost a decade ago when he bought his first project car to rebuild. He had to refabricate large parts of the frame, and soon got recruited to help fix rotted out rocker panels and all sorts of other small welding jobs for friends and family. In 2016 Dan moved to Lima, Ohio to attend the University of Northwestern OH. He spent the next five years working at Lima Sheet Metal Manufacturing Company. He started out as a shop apprentice and moved up through the ranks, eventually getting promoted to Lead Fabricator. After completing his degree in Automotive Service Management with a minor in High Performance Motorsports, Dan moved back home to Massachusetts and started DMES Welding & Fab, a full service mobile welding business specializing in custom & sheet metal fabrication & repairs.

Mobile Welding Repairs
When your equipment goes down, your whole project comes to a halt. DMes Welding will be there promptly and get you back on track. Our fully mobile setup allows us to work effectively at food & beverage facilities, factories, or on your job site. We also provide construction equipment, heavy-duty truck and commercial truck repair.
Custom Fabrication
We can design, fabricate, paint and finish a wide variety of custom pieces and deliver them ready for installation. Because we are a small operation, we are agile and can accommodate tight deadlines while providing top quality products. Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Steel – you name it and we can probably work with it. We have designed and built custom tanks and repaired everything from food trucks to heavy construction equipment. If it is made of metal, we can probably build or fix it!
Sheet Metal Fab
DMes Fab offers custom sheet metal fabrication from light gauge aluminum through heavy gauge stainless plate. We have experience with numerous material types including carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized, and aluminum ranging from thin sheets to plate including grating and expanded metal, and have the ability to field measure and design a solution to fit your specific needs or fabricate to existing drawings.
